Since 1904 we've believed that backing local young people is the surest investment we can make. Today that means scholarships you can use at any accredited college, university, or trade school in the country, laptops for students who put the work in, and accounts designed to teach good habits early rather than punish mistakes.

$57,300 awarded every year across two scholarship programs, for graduating high school seniors heading to college, university, or trade school.
Education Pays
Each year, students in grades 6–12 who earn A’s can enter to win a brand-new laptop—because nothing should stand between you and your success!

Who Can Apply
Eligibility differs slightly between our programs. Here's the short version:
Graduating high school seniors in our Idaho, Northern Utah, and Eastern Oregon service areas
Funds can be used at any accredited college, university, or trade school in the United States
Students with a parent, sibling, or grandparent employed at D.L. Evans Bank are eligible for two dedicated scholarships
Education Pays is open to students in grades 6 through 12. Earn an A in any class, submit an entry.

Laptop Drawing — Education Pays 2025-2026 Academic Year
D.L. Evans Bank is proud to support the education of today’s youth. We recognize that students are facing greater challenges than ever before, and we want to reward extraordinary students for their efforts during the academic year. Every July, D.L. Evans Bank’s Education Pays program rewards seven students with laptops for excelling in their core classes. Additionally, we award two laptops to two students who have a parent that is an employee of D.L. Evans Bank.
This is just one way D.L. Evans Bank shows our commitment and support to youth and their education!

D.L. Evans Bank Scholarship Program
The D.L. Evans Bank Scholarship Program awards a total of $54,000 to high school seniors in our service areas each year. Twenty-five $2,000 scholarships are awarded and students are able to use the funds at any accredited college, university, or trade school located in the United States. D.L. Evans Bank believes in supporting our innovators, leaders, and dedicated workforces of tomorrow, recognizing that students working towards a goal need support.
Additionally, each year D.L. Evans Bank awards two $2,000 scholarships to two eligible graduating high school seniors who have a parent, sibling, or grandparent that is employed at D.L. Evans Bank.

D.L. Evans Foundation Scholarship Program
The D.L. Evans Foundation Scholarship Program awards $1,100 to three recipients to use at any accredited college, university, or trade school located in the United States.
D.L. Evans Foundation is pleased to show support by offering scholarships to the graduating high school seniors of Idaho, Northern Utah, and Eastern Oregon so that they may become the next generation of community leaders in their chosen industry. Employee children are not eligible for the Foundation Scholarship.
